Yes. Alerts can be delivered by text message instead of just email. After activating your phone, create alerts and set your phone as a contact point within online banking.
Yes. At Umpqua, we are dedicated to protecting your personal information and accounts. No personal or account information is stored on the mobile device. Account numbers are displayed as only the last four digits. You can’t move money using your phone unless you answer a security challenge correctly. If the answer is wrong too many times, we lock your access.
Call us at 1-866-486-7782 during business hours and we’ll unlock it after assuring it is you making the request.
You can disable mobile banking on your device at any time from within online banking. Or call us at 1-866-486-7782 during business hours. We can either un-enroll your device or suspend the service until you confirm the phone is actually lost.
Text messages can be sent to a telephone number or to a “short code”. When you text BAL, for example, to 867782 (UMPQUA), you are texting to a short code. Some mobile service providers may block the use of short codes. Be sure your carrier is on our list and then contact them to enable short codes for your service plan.
Simply text HELP to 867782 (UMPQUA) and you'll receive a text message with all text commands (BAL, HIST, etc.).
Register for both Web and Text mobile banking! There are no bank fees for using multiple mobile access modes. Use umpqua.online banking to register your mobile phone as a contact point and create the alerts you want to receive.
