Foster Care Pre-Service Date: 5/6/2008 Time: 6:30-9:30p Place: 2300 East Gibson Rd., Bldg. 100, Rm#114, Woodland, CA Details: To learn more about Yolo County foster care and adoption of infants, children and teens from foster care through the pre-service classes. The rewards and challenges of parenting infants and children placed out-of-home into protective custody will be highlighted. Several foster/adoptive parents will share their experiences with fostering. Various topics and questions will be addressed and answered during the class.

Before and after the event participants can enjoy the health fair, kids craft area, Ask the Doc and Ask the Vet area as well as food and beverages.
This event is held nationwide in May to kick off National Arthritis Month. The Arthritis Walk focuses on teams of individuals raising money to help the Arthritis Foundation meet its mission to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases. Pet owners are invited to bring their leashed dogs to walk with them at the event.
