To be successful in business and banking, it helps to have a curious mind. Marie earned her degree in Animal Sciences and started her career working in agriculture. Her background in science has been invaluable to her commercial banking career because it taught her to be a thorough investigator and to be truly curious about ‘how things work.’ Specializing in construction, real estate, manufacturing and the food and beverage industry, her ability to think critically and find solutions has resulted in numerous awards over her more-than-32-year career including Top Commercial Banker at Bank of America.
An active member of her community, Marie has served on numerous boards over the years including Economic Development Councils in San Diego and Boise, the San Diego Executive YMCA Board, the Urban Land Institute, and the Civic Action Leadership Council in San Bernardino.
