Sam started his career on the credit and operations side of the industry, learning the intricacies of financing small and large companies before moving into a business development role. Born and raised in Seattle, the Black Diamond resident graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in marketing which taught him the importance of strategic planning and the ability to communicate your business’ goals clearly. Specializing in aerospace, manufacturing and commercial real estate and construction, Sam’s ability to help clients with everything from cash flow management to securing the right loan has resulted in numerous awards throughout his long career. Among others, he was named Ameritrust CDC Lender of the Year in 2009, 2011 and 2014 and the Evergreen Business Capital Lender of the year in 2016.
An active member of the community who strongly believes in giving back, Sam previously served on the board of AtWork!, an organization dedicated to helping disabled job seekers find meaningful employment. A family man at heart, Sam can often be found traveling to one of his four grandkid’s sporting events. In his free time, he also enjoys golfing, camping, fishing, home remodeling and tailgating at his beloved University of Washington football games (Go Huskies!).
