Agriculture is in Sarah’s blood; her family has owned and operated a produce brokerage firm since 1955. The Cal Poly SLO graduate earned her degree in Agricultural Business and started her career with Farm Credit West. With over 15 years of commercial banking experience, Sarah specializes in agriculture helping local farmers and ranchers with everything from almonds and avocados to cattle, grapes and wineries. Her work has earned numerous accolades including being named to the Pacific Coast Business Times Top 50 Women in Business in 2019.
An active member of the community, Sarah serves on numerous boards including the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance, SLO County CattleWomen, SLO County Farm Bureau and the SLO County Ag Education Committee.Her volunteer work often involves kids and agriculture. For example, her favorite event is an annual field trip hosted by the SLO County Ag Education Committee where over 1,800 4th graders get to enjoy an educational, hands-on agriculture field day. Sarah also volunteers with Coats for Kids, an organization that distributes new and used coats to over 400 families in need every year.
