James Hooper

James Hooper has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. During that time, he has helped clients navigate a variety of market conditions. The San Diego native specializes in helping high net worth borrowers with jumbo loans that require keen insights into local markets and attention to detail. An excellent communicator who consistently earns the trust of his clients, James was recently named Top Producer in December of 2020 and September 2021.

Outside the office, James leads an active life with his wife and three children. His wife Jessica is Head of Advancement at a full scholarship private middle school. When he’s not driving the kids to basketball practices, tennis matches or dance competitions, you’ll likely find the entire family surfing or boogieboarding on California’s beautiful sunny beaches. A former USC basketball player and avid sports fan, James and his wife are active members of their church and school communities.
