Before you download: In the new year we’re unveiling a new digital banking experience, including new mobile banking apps. Feel free to download but know that you’ll be downloading something even better soon. (We’ll walk you through it all when the time comes.) Thanks!
Our mobile apps are like a friendly Umpqua associate right in your pocket. Check your balances, transfer funds, set up alerts, find an ATM and more. Most of all, stay connected whether you're going to Hawaii or just going to the store. (If you are going to Hawaii, be sure to send us a picture!)
Ready to get your app? If you're signed up with online banking, pick the type of phone you use and you're on your way. If you aren't signed up, go to our online banking page and get started.

frequently asked questions

What does it cost?
There's no fee for using our mobile banking. However, you do need an Umpqua Bank account to use mobile banking, and it's possible your actual account may have a cost associated with it. It's also possible your mobile phone service provider may charge for text messages and/or web access-check your plan for details. Message and data rates may apply.
Do I need a special phone?
No. We developed mobile banking to work with virtually all of today's phones and the most popular mobile phone service providers. You can use our service if:
  • Your phone allows text messaging (message and data rates may apply); or
  • You can browse the Internet on your phone; or
  • You have an iPhone, BlackBerry or Android mobile device.
Will it work with my mobile phone company?
Our participating carriers include (but are not limited to) AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile®, Boost Mobile, Cricket, Virgin Mobile USA, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular®, Ntelos, Cellular South, Cincinnati Bell, Centennial, Bluegrass, Appalachian Wireless, Revol, Illinois Valley, United Wireless, Inland Cellular, West Central Cellular, ECIT, Immix, Nex-Tech, Pocket Com USA, Pioneer Wireless USA, Simmerty US, Union Wireless, Cellcom.
What happens if my access is locked?
Call us at 1-866-486-7782 during business hours and we'll unlock it after assuring it is you making the request.
I think I lost my phone--now what?
You can disable mobile banking on your device at any time from within online banking. Or call us at 1-866-486-7782 during business hours. We can either un-enroll your device or suspend the service until you confirm the phone is actually lost.
I get text messages from friends. Why can't I get your messages?
Text messages can be sent to a telephone number to a "short code." When you text BAL, for example, to 867782 (UMPQUA), you are texting to a short code. Some mobile service providers may block the use of short codes. Be sure your carrier is on our list and then contact them to enable short codes for your service plan. Message and data rates may apply.
Where can I find all text commands?
Simply text HELP to 867782 (UMPQUA) and you'll receive a text message with all text commands (BAL, HIST, etc.). Message and data rates may apply.
