
Brad Aris is a Middle Market Director whose team supports clients in the East Bay and San Francisco Bay area. He is a career banker who has worked at the nation’s three largest banks before joining Umpqua in 2020.
He got into banking because he wanted to understand how businesses work, what makes some thrive and others fail, and how to analytically differentiate between the two. After more than 30 years in banking, he’s still adding to that knowledge base and embracing the unique complexity of every business. Brad believes in earning the trust and confidence of clients to earn their business. While primarily a generalist, Brad has added expertise in leading global teams that developing business with importers & exporters at a middle market and commercial level.
Brad is a graduate of Penn State University and holds an MBA from San Francisco State University.
Within the community, Brad has served as a board member for the Cal-Asia Business Council, the San Francisco World Trade Center Organization and the Oakland East Bay Symphony. He also has volunteered with the Lafayette Partners in Education, a nonprofit aimed at improving education in Lafayette public schools.
