Kevin Meabon Kevin is an Executive Vice President and Middle Market Regional Director of Western Washington at Umpqua Bank, managing seven commercial banking teams that have built a $3 billion book of business. Kevin had worked at the predecessor bank, Columbia Bank for roughly 19 years before the merger of Columbia Bank and Umpqua Bank in March of 2023. Kevin has over 20 years of experience of banking commercial and industrial middle-market and corporate clients. He has broad industry experience and expertise in the following industry niches: Mergers and acquisitions, finance companies, specialty subcontractors, Tribal lending, seafood and marine transportation, and construction and commercial real estate.
Kevin has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Washington and is an Honors graduate from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. Kevin has personal real estate development and construction experience. From 2009 – 2013 he built and sold twelve single family houses and built and retained a 16-unit apartment complex in Seattle. Since that time, he has been a passive investor in student housing and multi-family real estate, private equity, and venture capital opportunities. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for a local healthcare start-up and the economic development of a local Native American Tribe. Volunteer activities include numerous coaching roles for his children’s youth sports.
