Mary Hood is a Commercial Banking Team Lead, spearheading the Willamette Valley agricultural and commercial banking team. She proudly leads the largest lending team dedicated to agriculture at any bank in the Pacific Northwest.
Mary started her banking career in 1991 and has spent her whole career supporting Oregon’s agricultural industry. She proudly describes herself as having “grown up” in the agricultural industry.
Mary has been with Umpqua Bank since 2004 and strongly believes it is her team's purpose to be an extension of their clients’ business. She is proud of her team’s hard work and dedication to become trusted financial partners with their clients – listening, learning, and partnering through all economic cycles. The team’s high-performance reputation is known for making the banking experience enjoyable and easy.
Mary is passionate about Oregon and the Willamette Valley, saying there is no place on earth like it. She volunteers her time with numerous industry organizations and events, including Oregon Women for Agriculture and the Oregon Ryegrass Growers Association.
