Let’s talk overdraft services for your business.

Enhanced Overdraft Coverage

Enhanced Overdraft Coverage for Business Checking accounts covers checks, bill payments, ATM, Everyday Debit Card and recurring Debit Card transactions. Most Business Checking accounts come with Enhanced Overdraft Coverage¹. We pay overdrafts at our discretion, as defined in our Overdraft Disclosure for Business Accounts.

There is no fee to sign up for Enhanced Overdraft Coverage. Your account is charged a fee per item paid or returned. You may opt out of Enhanced Overdraft Coverage by visiting your neighborhood Umpqua branch or calling (866) 486-7782.

Overdraft Protection Service

An optional service that may have lower fees is the Overdraft Protection Service². The Overdraft Protection Service allows for an overdrawn balance in most Business Checking accounts to be avoided by transferring available funds held in another Business Deposit account or Line-of-Credit³. Your account will be charged a fee for each transfer. Transfers occur in $100 increments.

There is no fee to sign up for Overdraft Protection Service. Please see our Overdraft Transfer Agreement. Call us at (866) 486-7782 or visit your neighborhood Umpqua branch.

¹ Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we may not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing or you have too many overdrafts. Once your account becomes overdrawn, you are obligated to bring your account to a positive balance promptly.  For more information, see the Overdraft Disclosure for Business Accounts.
² Once established, the Overdraft Transfer service will serve as the primary source of overdraft coverage and may have lower fees than the Overdraft Protection Services. For more information, see the Overdraft Transfer Agreement.
³ Lines-of-credit subject to credit approval. Line-of-credit transfers will incur interest charges at current Line-of-Credit interest rate.
