Visa Liability Waiver
Visa Liability Waiver - This benefit offers our Commercial Card clients protection should card misuse occur by terminated employees. This protection provides indemnification (or reimbursement) to Visa Commercial Card employers agreeing to waive Visa Commercial card client’s liability for certain eligible charges, up to $100,000 per cardholder. It is a program that covers eligible transactions billed or incurred within 75 days prior to, or up to 14 days after, notification of employee termination. Coverage after the notification of termination date will apply, provided that Umpqua Bank Commercial Card Support received a request from the Company Program Admin to cancel the cardholder account within two business days of notification of the employee termination.
